The Čurug distillery is named after Branko Chura, a Čurug native who worked in America as a boxer and shop-window designer and came home after 46 years abroad. It is set up in his old house, around a gin recipe found among his papers.
The London Dry (40%) uses fennel, coriander, lemongrass, rosemary and angelica, while the unfiltered Alchemy (49%) is made from 13 plants and turns cloudy when diluted. The range also includes a gin aged in Cabernet Sauvignon barrels, a corn vodka, molasses rum and a quince rakija.
