Fantini is the wine brand of the Fantini Group in Ortona, Abruzzo, formerly known as Farnese Vini. The group was set up by Valentino Sciotti with partners to make quality wine from Abruzzo.
The grapes come from northern Abruzzo, and the brand is known above all for Montepulciano d'Abruzzo and its Cuvée sparkling wines. Edizione Cinque Autoctoni blends five native grapes: Montepulciano, Sangiovese, Primitivo, Negroamaro and Malvasia Nera. Its first vintage was 2000.
