Le Tribute is a premium dry gin from MG Destilerías, the Giró family distillery now in its fifth generation, in Vilanova i la Geltrú near Barcelona. It was conceived as a tribute to the distillery's founder and took about two years to develop.
The recipe is citrus-led: each botanical is macerated and distilled separately, and the distillates are then blended. The gin is bottled at 43% ABV. Its light green fluted bottle with copper accents recalls old pharmacists' bottles.
